A Crisp November Morning

We had the opportunity to capture an elopement at Petit Jean Mountain this past November. This State Park is a top choice for couples looking for a location to elope in Arkansas.

Meet our couple, Jessica and Cody. Jessica and Cody had never been to Petit Jean before. Partly because they’re not from Arkansas. That didn’t hold them back though. When they saw photos of Petit Jean online, they knew that’s where they wanted to get married.

Arkansas in the Fall as your season of choice can’t be a better time to elope either. This setting was the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony.

Getting Ready in Perryville

The day started in the quiet town of Perryville, where Jessica and Cody prepared for the day. They booked a cabin for the weekend on Harris Brake in Perryville. You could feel the excitement and anticipation in the air when we arrived.

Her Father’s Watch

Jessica told us that she wanted to include her father’s watch in some of the photos. He passed away the year before and the watch symbolized his presence to her. While capturing the detail photos, we were able to add the watch to remind her of this special moment.

The First Look

Before heading to the ceremony site, Jessica and Cody shared a first look outside their cabin. This moment was filled with emotion, as they saw each other in their wedding attire for the first time. It was a moment of pure joy, encapsulating the love and connection between them.

The Ceremony at Stout’s Point Overlook

Jessica and Cody chose Stout’s Point for their elopement ceremony. It’s the overlook on the east side of Petit Jean Mountain that has a breathtaking view of the Arkansas River. The beauty of this location added to the solemnity and significance of the occasion.

Bride and Groom Photos

After the ceremony, Jessica and Cody wanted to explore the area around Stout’s Point. They wanted just some bride and groom photos from their wedding day. We were able to capture all the newlywed bliss.
