Garden Wedding at Garvan Gardens in Hot Springs

Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas is a stunning location that offers multiple wedding venue sites for couples looking to tie the knot in a serene and picturesque place.

This post captures the magical wedding of Adam and Chloe at this beautiful location in Central Arkansas. We’re showcasing the moments and unique traditions that made their day unforgettable.

The Bride and Groom: Adam and Chloe

Adam, our groom for the day, an Arkansas native, and Chloe, originally from Hawaii, brought together the best of both worlds for their wedding. Chloe’s Hawaiian heritage allowed us to capture some unique traditions, adding a touch of island magic to this Central Arkansas wedding.

Getting Ready: Preparations and Traditions

The bridal party prepped for the big day by styling beautiful leis for the groom, and Chloe’s parents, while Chloe wore a flower crown. This special touch highlighted Chloe’s Hawaiian roots and added a vibrant, personal element to the wedding photography.

First Look and Private Vows

Adam and Chloe’s first look took place at the breathtaking Koi pond waterfall in Garvan Gardens. This picturesque spot perfectly reflected their personalities. Sharing private, handwritten vows amid the tranquil sounds of the waterfall made the moment intimate and special.

The Wedding Party

The trend of different colored bridesmaid dresses was on full display, with jewel-toned gowns adding a burst of color and personality to the wedding party.

This vibrant trend allows bridesmaids to express themselves while complementing the wedding theme beautifully.

Pre-Ceremony Moments

Before the ceremony, we headed to the Pavilion at Garvan Gardens, where the wedding ceremony was to take place. Here, we captured a few detail shots and the live painter who beautifully portrayed Adam and Chloe’s first look.

Why You Should Choose Garvan Gardens for Your Wedding

Garvan Woodland Gardens offers gorgeous grounds, multiple ceremony locations like the Pavilion and Anthony Chapel, and numerous accommodations in Hot Springs, making it an ideal venue for getting married.

A Heartfelt Ceremony

Adam and Chloe’s ceremony was officiated by a close friend, adding a personal and touching element to their wedding. The intimate setting of Garvan Gardens made their vows even more meaningful.

Mother-Daughter Handoff

One of our favorite moments was capturing Chloe and her mother sharing a heartfelt hug before she got to the altar. These candid, emotional moments are why we love being wedding photographers.

Joyful Exit

David here! My favorite photo from the day is this one I snapped of Adam and Chloe exiting their ceremony. I mean just look at those smiling faces! You can feel the joy and excitement shared between this couple.

Capturing Family Moments

We usually don’t share family photos in our posts but we just couldn’t pass up sharing these photos of Adam and his brothers.

They wanted a freeze frame jumping photo like at the end of a movie and think we captured it perfectly. It’s moments like these that make wedding photography so much fun to do.

A Reception Filled with Joy

If we could describe this reception in three words, it would be smiles, laughs, and hugs. The atmosphere was filled with joy, with friends and family sharing in the couple’s happiness. It was a perfect 10/10 reception experience

A Feast to Remember

Adam and Chloe, being avid Indian food lovers, delighted their guests with a non-traditional yet delicious wedding feast. Choosing your favorite food is a great way to personalize your wedding and make it memorable.

Memorable Speeches

Originally, we planned to leave after the cocktail hour, but we extended our stay to capture the heartfelt speeches. Staying longer allowed us to document the emotional and meaningful moments that unfolded during this special part of the day.

A Special Dance

Chloe’s best friend has been a lifelong hula dancer. She traveled from Hawaii for the wedding and surprised the bride with a stunning hula performance during the speeches. This heartfelt dance was a touching highlight, adding a unique and unforgettable moment to Chloe’s wedding day.
